Unit 11 - Chemical Reactivity

In this chapter, we will learn to write and use acid/base and oxidation/reduction reactions.  Acid/base reactions involve the exchange of hydrogen ions from one substance to another and explain the corrosive nature of many substances.  Oxidation/reduction reactions (or redox) involve the exchange of electrons and are among the most powerful you'll learn this year.  I look forward to demonstrating thermite with you!
