Lab - Det. of the Empirical Formula of a Hydrate

Copper (II) sulfate is a common example of a hydrate, an ionic substance which contains water in its crystalline matrix.  In today's lab, you will heat this substance to drive off the water, collecting masses before and after doing so.  Using this data, you should be able to predict the empirical formula of this hydrate.
